F.lli Carminati was founded in 1963 as a manufacturer of hydraulic vane pumps, a sector still active today, and in 1976 purchased its first broaching machine for internal use. In a short time, increasing customer demand for broaching led to it becoming the company’s primary activity in the 1990s. In 2001, the headquarters were relocated and expanded to its current facility. In 2014, the company achieved its first ISO 9001:2008 certification and is currently certified to ISO 9001:2015. In 2015, broaching was complemented by slotting, and the facility was expanded again with a 1,000 square meter warehouse, followed by a second warehouse in 2017, bringing the total facility size to 4,000 square meters, of which 2,800 square meters are covered. Innovation and research have enabled F.lli Carminati to work with materials such as Inconel, Duplex, or stainless steel. Quality, personnel training, and a machine fleet consisting of 24 broaching machines and 4 CNC slotting machines have established F.lli Carminati as a leading company in the broaching sector nationally, with over 2,000,000 parts machined each year. F.lli Carminati is also Industry 4.0; since 2017, the company has integrated a customized MES system that allows real-time machine scheduling and production tracking, as well as 4 robotic islands for broaching.
